1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ToolsLab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ToolsLab is an AI-powered productivity platform that provides conversational AI, content creation tools, code assistance, file utilities, and other productivity features.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for illegal purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use automated tools to access the Service without permission*
Generate harmful, offensive, or illegal content
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

* Note: The following public endpoints are exempt from the anti-automation clause and may be accessed programmatically: /api/health, /api/share/:token, and /api/partner/track-click.

5. Rate Limits

To ensure fair usage:

Free tier: 15 requests per day
Starter plan: Unlimited requests
Pro plan: Unlimited requests
Max plan: Unlimited requests

6. Subscription Plans

ToolsLab offers the following plans:

Free: Basic access with daily limits
Starter (₹99/month): Unlimited chat and tools
Pro (₹349/6 months): Everything + Agent Mode
Max (₹999/year): Everything + Deep Research + Custom Connectors
Exclusive (₹299/month add-on): Code Mode + Design Mode

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). See our Refund Policy for details.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create using ToolsLab. We do not claim ownership over your outputs.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

ToolsLab is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
